The 440 engine got hurt bad in my 3rd License run. I ran it a 4th time just to put the 440 engine out of its misery and also to get an “official” time slip… Later the autopsy reviled 7 stuck piston pins, 8 busted up cylinders, busted up intake lobe on the cam… The Charger would have made it into the 12sec times, but I had to let go off the throttle nearing the end of the track, the engine sounded like it was about to rip itself apart, I also did NOT want to push the car back to the pits…. -Yes, I also know I ¤&%” up the lights !!!

‘70 Charger w/496 Six Pack running through TTI coated headers w/3.5″ collectors into a full 3″ exhaust system w/X pipe & Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers + stainless steel tips. Still a little extra lumpy, as she was just warming up.
