Dodge should consider brining back this monster using the same tooling. Maybe with the newer emission gadgets but the same old body. They still build big ass cars but not as appealing as the 1970 Charger.

Great Commercial!!! Ah the days before Dodge started building junk and not standing behind that junk. The days when a big car looked good (Magnum, 300, etc yuck!) Those were the good old days when you could buy American and know it would be reliable. U.S. car makers loaded their own gun for russian roulette when they started building cars like the Pacifica, Intrepid, Stratus, and all that junk. Build another car like the one in this commerical and I’ll gladly garage my Civic.

Sorry man, but those cars were fucking junk. They ran good, but they also rusted and fell apart in about 4 years. The only ones still left have been babied and stored in humidity controlled garages or were completely restored. It took several hundred feet to stop because they all had crap drum brakes that had to be replaced about every 10,000 miles. Leaks, smoke, breakdowns, shitty radios, overheating, exhaust fumes, were all normal. It just looked good and ran great for about 20k miles.
Wasn’t the 1970 Charger the type of car that was used for the “General Lee” in the “Dukes of Hazard”?

Nah man , they used 68-69 Chargers. They destroyed over 200 Chargers in the show’s 6yr run.
