1970 Dodge Charger 500 TV Commercial
This commercial is introduced by Baseball player and TV personality Joe Garagiola. About 50 thousand Chargers were produced in the 1970 model year. Hard to believe but true, more 225 Slant 6 cylinder Chargers were manufactured than Chargers with the 426 Hemi engine. 300 vs. 115 units. Who would have thunk?

Please tell me that chick jumped in the back seat, because if “L” gave up the drivers seat that quickly, I am guessing he is still a virgin to this day!
Why is that hard to believe? and 300 to 115? More like 10,000 6 cylinders to 50 HEMIs. The 426 HEMI was a rare option, not many HEMI were ever made. Most people could not afford the option. It’s common knowledge that MANY more 6 cylinders were put into the majority of all cars made back then than 8 cylinders of any size.
Love the way it slides sideways trying to get traction in the soft sand
the guy got out to let the other chick in the back seat, then got back in the drivers seat and drove off
I wonder if he got laid? I bet he did!
